Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church 4th Ridge, Cape Coast yesterday 5th February 2023, installed into office 11 newly elected Advisory Board Members who are going to serve the church for the next 3 years. The installation Ceremony was conducted by Very Rev. Fr. Robert Edwin Hagan (The Dean of Cape Coast Deanery).
He called out one by one the newly elected candidates to swear in the oaths of office holding unto the Holy Bible. After that, the robes signifying their office were handed over to them. They were then paraded and introduced to the entire church for the first time wearing their robes of office. Before the closure of the Holy Mass celebration, Rev. Fr. David Ocran, the Parish Priest for Mary Queen of Peace, called out the outgoing Advisory Board members and awarded each of them with a citation for their years of hard service to the church.
