On Sunday, 24th July 2022, the Catholic Women Association (CWA) in the Mary Queen of Peace Parish, Cape Coast swore in the newly-elected executives of the society into office at the Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. David Ocran.
According to the spokesperson for CWA, the purpose of their visit to the church, on Sunday is as part of their regular visits to check up on their members in various stations, encourage them and also invite other women who have the zeal to join them with open arms.
The newly elected executives were Mrs. Faustina Owusu Ansah (President), Miss Priscilla Yayra Xardo (Vice President), Mrs. Perpetual Frimpong (Secretary), Mr. Stephen Arhin (Deputy Secretary), Mrs. Faustina Dadzie (Financial Secretary), Madam Elizabeth Atobil (Treasurer), Miss Veronica Acquaye (Organizer), Mrs. Cynthia Tawiah (Porter), Mrs. Rebecca Akyem Tawiah (Assistant Porter) and Mrs. Mary Asiedu (Chaplain).
After the swearing-in of the newly-elected executives by Rev. Fr. David Ocran, the society then proceeded to have a meeting to discuss the welfare of the association, the wellbeing of its members as well as their upcoming programs for the rest of the year.
